Jun’s ethical dilemma

Filed under: Discussion — huang @ 11:57 am

In this situation, I would decide to tell my family members that they may get fired. Even though this kind of information I cannot tell the other people, but they are my family members, so I have to tell them the truth and suggest them find another job as soon as possible. On the other hand I will not tell them all of the company information and I will just tell them that the company will let them go. Then after my family members leave the company, I will be honest to tell my boss what I did before.

  1. I agree with Jun’s decision. I believe family is important and not telling them would betray their trust forever. Family you’re with for all your life. A company is a source of income. I also agree its a good decision not to tell other people in the company. I don’t know if I would confess though, I would wait to be asked. Why make problems when its not necessary?
